Seahawks sign Dominick Wood-Anderson, waive BJ Emmons

We’re inching closer to the return of Seattle Seahawks football, and with minicamp in full swing some more roster moves are being made.

The team announced the signing of tight end Dominick Wood-Anderson. John Boyle has more knowledge for you to absorb:

Wood-Anderson, who went undrafted out of Tennessee last year, signed with the Seahawks as a free agent after the draft, but was waived prior to the start of training camp as the Seahawks trimmed their roster from 90 to 80 players as part of the league’s COVID-19 protocols.

A transfer from Arizona Western Community College, the 6-foot-4, 247-pound Wood-Anderson played two seasons at Tennessee, catching 38 passes for 408 yards and three touchdowns in 24 games played, 17 of them starts.
