Seahawks sign cornerback Will Sunderland

Some roster news to start off the work week!

The Seattle Seahawks recently let go of defensive back LaDarius Wiley, leaving an open spot on the 90-man roster. That vacancy has since been filled by undrafted cornerback Will Sunderland.

John Boyle has the skinny on Sunderland:

Sunderland, who is 6-foot-2, 196 pounds, went undrafted out of Troy in 2020 and signed with Green Bay following the draft. After being waived by the Packers as part of roster cuts, Sunderland later signed to Indianapolis’ practice squad in October.
