Seahawks receiver Gary Jennings has been expendable since the day he was drafted. Seattle seemingly tried to release their rookie receiver previously this year but then changed their minds. Where Jennings value really lay was in his skill of being a healthy scratch every week. Now he is gone. That means Seattle will need to healthy-scratch someone else instead.
I don’t know this for sure and it is completely my opinion (that is what FanSided pays me for) but Jennings being a healthy scratch as a fourth round draftee probably means he showed up to camp either out of shape or with a not-great work ethic.
