Seahawks Russell Wilson quietly on pace to be game’s greatest

It seems like just yesterday that a rookie Russell Wilson delivered a game-winning 46-yard touchdown safely into the arms of Sidney Rice, overcoming a double-digit 4th quarter deficit to defeat the New England Patriots. This play reaffirmed, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll’s controversial decision to name Wilson the starter that August over the newly signed Matt Flynn.

Now, as Wilson enters his 8th NFL season, it’s becoming harder and harder to ignore that he is not only on pace but exceeding pace to one day become the NFL’s G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All-Time).

Wins

As it stands right now, Wilson holds the record for most wins in a quarterback’s first 7 seasons (75).
