Seahawks rookie Alton Robinson active for the first time in his career

It was absolutely no secret to fans and observers that one of the biggest weaknesses of the Seattle Seahawks over the offseason was a pass rush that failed to produce as many hoped during the 2019 season. In the wake of that 2019 performance, the team allowed both Quinton Jefferson and Jadeveon Clowney to depart in free agency with hopes that Benson Mayowa and Bruce Irvin could combine with an improvement in performance from the younger members of the defensive front to improve the rush in 2020.

However, just two weeks into the new season Irvin is on injured reserve with a torn ACL, while Mayowa was listed as questionable for Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys with a groin injury.
