Seahawks reportedly replacing running backs coach Sherman Smith

At the end of last season, Pete Carroll said he expected the Seattle Seahawks coaching staff to remain in tact going into 2017.

But a couple weeks ago, assistant head coach/defense Rocky Seto announced he was leaving the team to go into ministry.

And now, according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports, Chad Morton is replacing Sherman Smith as the Seahawks' running backs coach. The report did not indicate whether Smith has been fired or if he's leaving the team to pursue another opportunity.

Smith had been part of Carroll's original coaching staff since 2010.
