Earlier this spring the Seattle Seahawks traded with the New England Patriots to acquire Jacob Hollister. A promising youngster with good receiving skills, many felt that Hollister could come in to Seattle and team up with Russell Wilson to be a weapon in the passing game. In addition, Hollister could provide a hedge against any setbacks in the recovery of Will Dissly from the torn patellar tendon he suffered in Week 4 of 2018 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Unfortunately, it appears as though Hollister will not deliver on the promise he showed for the Hawks this preseason, with word coming down that he has been waived.
