Geno Smith is staying with the Seattle Seahawks.
The former New York Jets quarterback has re-signed with Seattle to be the team’s backup behind Russell Wilson. Terms have not yet been disclosed but I bet you when those details emerge it’ll be a one-year deal worth not a lot of money.

Smith didn’t play a down with the Seahawks in 2019, largely because the team played a ton of close games so opportunities for garbage time were scarce.
