The Seahawks have had some great teams in their 44-year history. They posted a winning record in just their third season and in Steve Largent, already boasted a player who’d make the Hall of Fame. There was more talent there than just Number 80. Quarterback Jim Zorn, running back Sherman Smith, and free safety John Harris weren’t destined for Canton, but they represented Seattle just fine. The talent was just beginning to roll in and would hit its peak in the decade just ending.
I’m not saying the Seahawks of 2010 – 2019 had their best player at every position.
