Seahawks notes: Hawks hosting Dallas DT; Sherman welcomes daughter

Just ahead of the 2016 NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks are reportedly kicking the tires on a possible veteran addition to the defensive line.

According to ESPN's Sheil Kapadia, Seattle hosted former Dallas defensive tackle Nick Hayden on Monday.

Hayden, 30, started 47 games for the Cowboys from 2013 to 2015, racking up 134 total tackles and three passes defended in three seasons.

Pro Football Focus ranked him among the least effective defensive tackles in the NFL in that span, but Hayden kept his job in the starting lineup in Dallas. Last year, he told ESPN's Todd Archer he wasn't losing any sleep over his PFF grade.
