SEATTLE -- It seemed evident early during Pete Carroll's postgame news conference that he thought officiating played a role in the Seattle Seahawks' 39-32 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday night.
"We had 14 penalties today," the Seahawks' coach said. "We haven't had more than seven or something in a game. How did that happen? I don't know."
Asked directly what he thought about the officiating, Carroll held back.
"I can't say anything about that," he said. "Sorry. We're not allowed to."
