The Seattle Seahawks spent a lot of time tinkering with their offense this offseason. Offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb was fired, quarterback Geno Smith and wide receiver DK Metcalf were traded, and fan-favorite Tyler Lockett was released. Big losses, but possibly needed.
Now, Seattle has Klint Kubiak as OC, Sam Darnold as QB1, and Cooper Kupp as WR2. The team also signed veteran Marquez Valdes-Scantling in free agency. He was expected to be WR3 based on his explosive ability and experience. He was a 30-year-old receiver with a lot of speed.
The problem with MVS is that he is an all-or-nothing wideout.
