The Seahawks came out of Sunday’s 38-10 loss at Green Bay with just one significant injury. But it’s one that could leave the Seahawks thin at the tailback position for Thursday’s home game against the Rams.
Seattle coach Pete Carroll said backup tailback Troymaine Pope suffered a “severe” ankle sprain in Sunday’s game, re-injuring the same ankle that forced him to miss a game two weeks ago. Pope was injured after a run for 12 yards late in the fourth quarter.
With C.J. Prosise remaining out indefinitely, that could leave Seattle with just two healthy tailbacks for Thursday’s game — Thomas Rawls and Alex Collins.
