In the 2024 NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks stunningly took two cornerbacks out of the University of Auburn. The shock wasn't necessarily that the players weren't good, but that Auburn wasn't that good in the season before. How could they not have one but two potentially good NFL CBs?
The truth appears to be, they didn't. While Nehemiah Pritchett is still on the Seattle roster, though his ability to help the team win games is still in doubt, DJ James was released before final roster cuts were made in 2024.
He found his way to the New England Patriots this season, but that was short-lived.
