Seahawks-Cowboys: Sebastian Janikowski injury could lead to Michael Dickson drop kicking field goals

The Seattle Seahawks trotted out Sebastian Janikowski for a 57-yard field goal on the stroke of halftime, with the team down 10-6 to the Dallas Cowboys in the 2019 NFL Playoffs wild card round. Seabass hooked his kick wide right, which isn’t all that awful given his age and the difficulty for any kicker to make a 57-yarder.

The problem? Janikowski hurt his hamstring trying to boot what would’ve been the longest made field goal in Seahawks playoff franchise history.

That obviously means that first-team All-Pro rookie punter Michael Dickson would be the backup to kick field goals, extra points, and kickoffs.
