The Seattle Seahawks, as expected, have one of the better defenses in the NFL. When mostly healthy, the team can affect what any opponent wants to do offensively. Just ask the Los Angeles Rams and quarterback Matthew Stafford, who struggled after some early-game success in Week 11.
One reason that head coach Mike Macdonald's unit has been so impressive is that several castoffs from other teams have been a great fit in the scheme. The Dallas Cowboys, for instance, chose not to re-sign edge rusher DeMarcus Lawrence this offseason, and he's been terrific for Seattle.
Another castoff is cornerback Josh Jobe.
