Gary Jennings Jr is still on the Seattle Seahawks’ 53-man roster (for now).
There was a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the rookie fourth-round wide receiver had been waived, thus making room for safety Adrian Colbert to be elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.
Jennings had struggled in training camp and preseason, but still made the final roster cuts. This move seemed unsurprising given the rest of the Seahawks’ WR depth chart... and then it turns out he’s still on the team.
I didn’t know you could actually do this, but the Seahawks changed their minds and have since waived defensive lineman Bryan Mone.
