Seahawks bringing Alex McGough back to practice squad

The Seattle Seahawks have ridden the Let Russ Cook movement to the an offense averaging the most points per game in team history through the first twelve games of the season, but even given that fact they’re not standing pat when it comes to the quarterback position. Specifically, on Wednesday reports emerged that the team was set to sign 2018 seventh round pick Alex McGough to its practice squad.

McGough spent the 2018 season on the Seattle practice squad before departing to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent after the 2018 season.
