Seahawks middle linebacker Bobby Wagner should be a first-team All-Pro following a standout 2016 campaign, but there might be even bigger things in his future.
The 26-year-old Wagner could -- and should -- earn votes for NFL Defensive Player of the Year after season that saw him lead the league in tackles and establish a new franchise record.
The fifth-year pro had 12 tackles (including two for loss) in Sunday's 25-23 win over the San Francisco 49ers, setting a new franchise mark of 167 total tackles on the season after breaking the old record of 154 last week.
