Less than a quarter of the way through the regular season, the Seattle Seahawks were looking at a brutally beat up roster. Nearly half the roster appeared on the injury report to start the week, ahead of the team’s trip to Miami to take on the Dolphins. Marquise Blair, Bruce Irvin, Rasheem Green, and Phillip Dorsett, among others, were already on injured reserve. Jordyn Brooks and Jamal Adams were declared out before the final injury report on Friday.
The Seahawks, headed across the country, could not afford to lose anymore players to injury in a game they entered without a number of starters.
