The Seattle Seahawks made a sneaky-good move by trading for wide receiver Rashid Shaheed ahead of the 2025 deadline. Shaheed adds a consistent ability to create explosive plays that the team lacks, other than otherworldly receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Seattle had to give up something to get him, though.
To acquire the wide receiver, general manager John Schneider sent the New Orleans Saints two draft picks, both in the 2026 draft. One was a fourth-round choice and the other was a fifth-round selection. The move left the Seahawks with only four choices in next April's draft.
Like every team, Seattle will have some holes to fill.
