FOXBOROUGH, MASS. — This is what Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon said about Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson before the season, and it seems appropriate to dig up now:
“I really feel he’s primed to have an MVP-type season, or at least be in the running,” Moon said. “He’ll definitely be in the conversation, I think, if everybody stays healthy and he does what I think he’s capable of.”
The problem for much of this season was that Wilson was the one who couldn’t stay healthy. But in the last two games, a healthy Wilson has played like the MVP-caliber quarterback Moon envisioned.
