Entering the Seattle Seahawks’ Week 7 game against the Arizona Cardinals, Russell Wilson was tied with Matt Hasselbeck for the most completions in franchise history, with 2,559.
On the very first play of the game, Wilson hit Tyler Lockett for a beautiful 34-yard completion, breaking his tie with Hasselbeck to take sole possession of the Seahawks franchise record for completions.
Seattle’s all-time completions record was one of the few passing marks Wilson did not already own, as he already leads the franchise in passing touchdowns and passing yards—as well as wins, completion percentage, passer rating, fourth quarter comebacks, and game-winning drives.
