Rookie safety Marquise Blair ‘pretty good’ in first start for Seahawks

The Seahawks drafted Marquise Blair in the second round of April’s NFL draft because they believe he can be a signature piece in their secondary at some point down the road.

They got an ahead-of-schedule glimpse of that future Sunday and, well, it was pretty good. That was Pete Carroll’s assessment, anyway, of Blair’s first start in Sundays’ 30-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
