Some Seattle Seahawks players have attended numerous Seattle Mariners games, and that's how it should be. After all, while the players participate in a different sport, there are only a handful of professional athletes in any given city. The community between them is real.
It is not just current Seattle football players who are bought into the baseball madness, either. Richard Sherman, a likely future Pro Football Hall of Famer whose best seasons were with the Seahawks and still lives in the Seattle area, is clearly tuned to what is happening with the Mariners.
During Seattle's epic 15-inning American League Division Series game five victory over the Detroit Tigers, Sherman tweeted several times about the game.
