RENTON, Wash. -- When Showtime's "Inside the NFL" showed highlights of the Atlanta Falcons' controversial final incompletion against the Seattle Seahawks, a different clip was edited in at the beginning of the play.
In the actual play, Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones slapped Richard Sherman's helmet to knock him off-balance at the line of scrimmage. But as the crew at HawkBlogger pointed out, the show's highlight of the play didn't show the slap when it aired highlights, instead editing in footage from a different play. That caught Sherman's attention.
