Here are five quick thoughts from reviewing the Seahawks’ snap counts from Sunday’s 26-15 win over the Eagles, in no particular order.
1, Seattle is starting to get some consistent depth on its defensive line: The Seahawks had seven defensive linemen play at least 42 percent of the snaps — Frank Clark (78 percent) Cliff Avril (64), Damontre Moore (52), Jarran Reed (51), Tony McDaniel (48), Cassius Marsh (42) and Ahtyba Rubin (42). Seattle has had similar breakdowns the last few weeks in getting the kind of consistent depth that the team has lacked at times the last few years — consider that last season only four players averaged more than 32 percent of snaps played (Michael Bennett, Avril, Brandon Mebane and Rubin).
