Report: Ziggy Ansah to start Seahawks training camp on active roster

We are one day away from the start of Seattle Seahawks training camp, and one of the question marks is the status of pass-rushing specialist Ezekiel “Ziggy” Ansah.

The oft-injured former Detroit Lions star was signed by Seattle on a one-year deal to bolster a pass rush that saw Frank Clark traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. Ansah is recovering from shoulder surgery that, when initially reported, was expected to see him miss training camp and potentially the first month of the regular season.

If there’s perhaps any sign of good news on how well Ansah’s recovery has gone, it’s news from Tom Pelissero that Ansah won’t be on the PUP list.
