Report: Jordyn Brooks suffered MCL sprain, will miss a couple of weeks

Seahawks first-round pick Jordyn Brooks got the opportunity to make his first career start in Week 3, in place of Bruce Irvin, who was lost for the season in Week 2. Unfortunately for Brooks, he was not able to make it through until the end of his debut, as the rookie suffered a knee injury and exited the game.

Speaking to reporters after Seattle’s win over the Cowboys, Pete Carroll called Brooks’ injury a knee sprain. After an MRI on Monday morning, the team learned the extent of Brooks’ injury.
