On Wednesday, Shaheed spoke with the media for the first time as a Seahawk, and he is already saying the kinds of things that will make fans love him. When asked about his expiring contract, and pending free agency this offseason, Shaheed simply responded that he sees Seattle as his long-term home and is “here to stay.
