With training camp moving into full pads this week, a number of players have picked up injuries which are worth monitoring. Head coach Pete Carroll provided the media with updates on a number of players who were seen leaving the field during practice this week at his post-practice press conference on Wednesday.
Cornerback Damarious Randall, who has dazzled Carroll and defensive coordinator Ken Norton with his stellar play so far (including a pair of interceptions of Russell Wilson) left practice Wednesday with a minor groin issue. Carroll said Randall felt some discomfort and that him sitting out was out of an abundance of caution.
