Pete Carroll is certainly a loyal guy, and he believes in the coaches and players who work with him. While sometimes it is a fault, Carroll likes to hold on to people whom he thinks he can trust. This has happened a lot so far this year as many former Seattle Seahawks are now with the Las Vegas Raiders.
First, former Seattle quarterback Geno Smith landed in Vegas after the QB had requested a trade from Seattle. Seattle signed Sam Darnold to replace Smith, and Darnold had a better year than Smith in 2024, but the Raiders' new QB1 will make them better.
