Pete Carroll admits possibility of shutting Jamal Adams down for season

Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams has had an injury-riddled career since he joined the team in 2020, and 2023 has been no different.

Adams, who tore his quad on opening night of the 2022 season, has had a lengthy recovery process that’s affected him throughout this season. He missed the first three regular season games, as well as the road game against the Los Angeles Rams, and Monday’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

While Pete Carroll was hopeful that Adams would be back for Seattle’s Week 16 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, Adams was not ready to return to practice/walkthrough on Wednesday.
