Panthers sign former Seahawks safety Lano Hill

Another member of the Seahawks’ 2017 draft class is headed elsewhere.

Safety Lano Hill, whom the Seahawks selected as one of their four third-round picks in the 2017 NFL Draft, signed with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Hill is the second member of the ‘Hawks’ 2017 class to join Matt Rhule & company this offseason, after WR David Moore signed with the Panthers earlier this year.

Panthers are signing free-agent safety Delano Hill, the former Seahawks’ third-round pick out of Michigan, per source.

Former Seahawks TE/DE Stephen Sullivan also joined the Panthers earlier this offseason, which shouldn’t be a surprise considering their GM is former Seahawks executive Scott Fitterer.
