That was the biggest quote that came out of Cam Newton’s postgame interview following Carolina’s 24-10 loss to the Broncos in Super Bowl 50. The Panther’s QB, who just a day earlier won the NFL MVP award, rattled off short answers after being stifled by the Broncos’ defense all evening. Then, after a little more than two minutes of questioning, he got up and walked away.
Newton faced harsh criticism over his postgame demeanor after the game. One of the most notable critics was Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.
“You are the face of our brand right now, you can’t do that,” Sanders said after the game on CBS.
