Update: Michael Bennett’s return is listed as “Questionable”
One play after laying a bit hit on Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett was on the ground following a cut block from tackle Jake Matthews. Bennett’s right knee was laid into with the full force of Matthew’s body and bent backwards, immediately sending him down clutching his knee. Bennett was helped off of the field shortly after.
On the play, Ryan threw a touchdown pass to Mohamed Sanu to setup a 17-17 tie in the third quarter.
Bennett has five tackles and five QB hits on Sunday, including one tackle for a loss.
