Los Angeles Rams’ new 3-4 scheme includes Robert Quinn to linebacker, Lamarcus Joyner to safety

The notorious thorn in the side of Seattle Seahawks, otherwise officially known as the Los Angeles Rams, rid themselves of Jeff “Mediocrates” Fisher, and have ushered in the Sean McVay era. Wade Phillips was brought in as the defensive coordinator, which also means LA’s defense is switching to a 3-4 base.

Seahawks fans now have a glimpse into how their division rivals, whose offseason workout program kicked off last week, will be shifting their key players around under a new defensive scheme. The biggest switch is fearsome pass rusher Robert Quinn moving from defensive end to outside linebacker.
