Jermaine Kearse loses starting role to Tyler Lockett and other Seahawks WR updates

This week Jermaine Kearse has taken a lot of heat from both the fans and media alike. What most speculated was that Kearse should see less snaps & targets, and that Tanner McEvoy deserves to get more of each as was already discussed here. Well, both statements are correct, but Pete Carroll decided to give Kearse’s number two starting wide receiver status to Tyler Lockett instead. And man, what a great decision that was!

Against the Rams last night, Lockett made his first start and had seven receptions on eight targets for 130 yards (career-high) and one very long touchdown.
