Jaxon Smith-Njigba just did something that’s never happened in modern NFL history

Seattle Seahawks rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba only has three touchdowns on the season—it should be four, but who knows what a catch is? He has two of the most consequential touchdowns of the Seahawks’ topsy-turvy campaign.

With under just 28 seconds remaining, Smith-Njigba hauled in a deep ball from Drew Lock on 3rd and 10 to give the Seahawks a 20-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. It was JSN’s first target of the 2nd half and he made an insanely difficult grab to end Seattle’s four-game losing streak.

Lock to JSN for the lead!
