The first preseason outing for the Seattle Seahawks was largely a success. The team came away healthy and learned a lot about its young players.
A lot of focus early was on the offensive line. On the Seahawks' first offensive possession, they drove the ball down the field, largely thanks to three positive run plays totalling 42 yards. Even without a full complement of starters on both sides of the line of scrimmage, it was a positive sign for Seattle fans after an offseason of worry up front.
Of course, the bulk of the attention goes to first-round pick Grey Zabel.
