Hugh Millen breaks down the Seahawks’ 43-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Lockett and Michael Bennett’s fourth-quarter sacks in the victory over the 49ers.
San Francisco hardly had a potent offense entering Thursday’s game against the Seahawks, yet the 49ers still had the NFL’s lowest (and best) percentage of offensive drives resulting in three-and-outs: just 6 of 61 drives in six games. Of 11 Niners possessions Thursday, Seattle’s defense forced seven three-and-outs.
A few thoughts:
• Deep angle cross route to Tyler Lockett for 43-yard touchdown: Seattle aligned in one of football’s rare truly balanced formations: To both sides of Russell Wilson was a tight end and flanker.
