Gerald Everett tests negative for COVID, has chance to play vs. Rams

When the Seahawks beat the 49ers on Sunday afternoon, they did so without their top tight end, Gerald Everett. Everett was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list after testing positive last week, despite being vaccinated.

But Monday afternoon, it was reported that Everett tested negative for COVID.

Carroll says Gerald Everett tested negative for COVID today so he "has a chance'' to play Thursday. Will need another negative test.

If Everett, who is fully vaccinated, can test negative again on a short week, he could make his return to the field after a one game absence and suit up on Thursday night against his former team, the Los Angeles Rams.
