Former Seahawks WR Kenny Lawler has chance to become CFL Grey Cup champion

Sunday is not just the return of the Seattle Seahawks after their bye week, it’s also the 107th Grey Cup!

Canadian Football’s biggest prize will be contested in Calgary between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Last year, former Seahawks wide receiver Chris Matthews was able to win the Grey Cup with the Calgary Stampeders, and now another ex-Seahawk (albeit one who never played on the 53-man roster) has a chance to join him.

Kenny Lawler spent two years on Seattle’s practice squad from 2016-2017 before heading to the CFL.
