Former Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse announces retirement

As Russell Wilson and the rest of the Seattle Seahawks offense shreds every NFL defense that comes across it’s path, one former Seahawks wide receiver has decided to hang things up.

Former Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse, responsible for some of the biggest receptions in Seattle’s history, has announced his retirement after 8 NFL seasons.

Jermaine Kearse made the Seattle roster in 2012 as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Washington and was a member of the pedestrian receiving corps that shredded the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII before being dealt to the New York Jets in the trade that brought Sheldon Richardson to Seattle on the eve of the 2017 season.
