When the Seattle Seahawks released Austin Calitro on Monday, it came as a surprise to many, as shock was expressed by fans, observers and teammates. Not only were the fans who had watched Calitro have a fantastic preseason surprised by the move, teammates were as well.

In any case, many Seattle fans certainly expected Calitro to get claimed off the waiver wire, and that is what happened, and why Calitro is now a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, the Jags weren’t the only team that was interested enough in the services of Calitro, as it turns out there were in fact three teams that put in a waiver claim.
