Failed Seahawks draft pick might be watching his career come to a close

The Seattle Seahawks have a history of turning fifth-round draft picks into diamonds. That happened with Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor, to name two, but it didn't happen with defensive back Tre Flowers.

Flowers was a fifth-round choice in 2018, and he started immediately. He wasn't even that awful in his second season, either, when he had two sacks, had three interceptions, gave up just one touchdown, and had a passer rating allowed of a very good 72.5. But the good times wouldn't last.

By his third and fourth seasons with Seattle, Flowers was making some astonishingly bad plays, mistiming jumps, and letting passes sail over his head for touchdowns.
