DeMarcus Lawrence needed 4 words to silence haters after Seahawks' Week 13 win

When the Seattle Seahawks signed veteran edge rusher DeMarcus Lawrence this past offseason, some might have logically thought the deal was too much. The problem wasn't the money, but the years. The former Dallas Cowboys star was about to be 33 years old and signed for three seasons.

Seattle general manager John Schneider is a smart guy, though. He often uses a unique way of doing contracts where there is no guaranteed money in years two or three. If Lawrence's play diminished or if he got hurt, the team could let Lawrence go and save money.
