When the Seattle Seahawks take the field in 2020, one of the biggest offensive weapons many fans are longing to see is second year wideout DK Metcalf. His performance over the course of the 2019 season landed him in a small group of high performing rookie receivers who have gained over 900 receiving yards in their first year in the league.
Coincidentally, Metcalf’s college teammate at Ole Miss, A.J. Brown, also reached that level of performance as well. Particularly impressive about this accomplishment is that, as Hayden Winks notes, prior to the 2019 season, only 18 wide receivers had reached that threshold.
