Arizona DOT trolls Seahawks’s Super Bowl 49 choke, forget Cardinals haven’t won one

Russell Wilson making his debut the only time he lost a road game to the Cardinals, but that isn’t stopping Arizona’s wittiest agency from talking trash.

Arizona’s University of Phoenix Stadium is where the Seahawks blew Super Bowl 49 against the New England Patriots when Wilson threw a late interception. The Arizona Department of Transportation doesn’t want the Seahawks to forget as Seattle and Arizona prepare to play Thursday at 5:25 p.m.

The agency used an electric overhead Interstate sign to point out the Seahawks’ most painful memory: “Careful passing results in successful drives.”

And just in case the message wasn’t clear they posted a picture of the sign on Facebook with a message to motorists making their way to the game: “On your drive, be sure to make good decisions and pass carefully.
