INDIANAPOLIS — It’s been a dizzying first few days here at the NFL Combine of press conferences with coaches and general managers and lots of just trying to hear what people are saying.

Instead, a report Friday stated Thomas wants to be the highest-paid safety in the NFL as he now enters free agency, and that he has no intention of giving the Dallas Cowboys a “hometown discount.
